Hyderabad Congress Community Outreach Drive

The Hyderabad Congress Community Outreach Drive held on 28 November 2025 was a powerful demonstration of people-centric politics and genuine grassroots engagement. Over 150 dedicated volunteers came together early in the morning across key regions of the Old City, including Charminar, Bahadurpura, and Chandrayangutta, with one united objective: to listen to the community and understand their day-to-day challenges. The initiative focused on interacting with citizens directly in their neighborhoods, markets, and residential clusters. Volunteers distributed informative material explaining various public welfare schemes, ongoing civic initiatives, and the role of community participation in strengthening democratic processes. Many residents openly shared concerns related to water supply, road safety, housing, employment opportunities, and issues faced by small traders. This helped the organisation build a strong community feedback base.

Throughout the day, volunteers also held short awareness interactions on government programs, voter rights, and the importance of political involvement. Several elderly residents expressed their appreciation for being heard, as such platforms often give them hope that their concerns will reach the right ears. Youth volunteers played a vital role in mobilizing engagement, especially among younger residents who showed interest in future programs. The outreach drive concluded with volunteers summarizing issues raised by the public and preparing detailed reports for the Hyderabad DCC leadership. Overall, the program strengthened bonds between the Congress team and local communities, helping build trust and encouraging more youth to step forward for civic service. This event set the foundation for deeper engagement and inspired many new individuals to join the volunteer network.
